Use a stable songs folder
Choose a permanent folder with enough storage and avoid moving it frequently. If the path changes, update the game configuration before rescanning.
Quick validation
Change one variable, test it immediately, and keep the working state before moving to the next adjustment.
Keep each chart package together
A song folder should keep its chart and supporting assets together. Excessive folder nesting can make it harder to diagnose why content is not detected.
Rescan after content changes
Use the in-game rescan option whenever you add, remove or reorganize songs. Give the scanner time to finish before deciding a chart is missing.
Fix songs that do not appear
Confirm the configured directory, check that the chart files are present, simplify nesting and test the problem chart in a small temporary library.
Back up curated libraries
If you spend time correcting metadata or organizing collections, keep a backup before major storage moves or operating-system changes.
